New South Wales officials are looking to tighten knife laws in the wake of the savage stabbing by a radical Islamist that left Assyrian Orthodox Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel, a priest, and at least two others wounded. Rather than calling out radical Islamism as the problem, Premier Chris Minns preferred to blame the knife and said he wanted to explore tightening knife laws to avert future attacks.
ANZ to stop issuing chequebooks
